Microdermabrasion can help eliminate Pregnancy Stretch Marks
Weight fluctuations and stretched skin during pregnancies leads to stretch marks in most women. However, just because you got through pregnancy without a scratch doesn't mean you won't develop stretch marks after having given birth. In fact, post pregnancy stretch marks are also a common occurrence. The abdomen and breast are the areas that develop stretch marks most easily, but you can also get them on your thighs, hips and upper arms.
Most women think that they are condemned to live with these striations for life, but this is not entirely true. There are actually several procedures and treatments that can help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
Surgery is, of course, the most effective type of treatment because it completely removes the damaged skin, however, this doesn't keep more stretch marks from appearing. So if you're not too keen on surgery and want to have a way of preventing future stretch marks you might want to try less invasive alternatives for your pregnancy stretch marks. If you do prefer a less invasive approach then you should either try microdermabrasion or stretch mark creams, or both.
Stretch mark removal with non invasive treatments is slow. Therefore, you must be patient and consistent if you want to see results.
Microdermabrasion & Stretch Mark Removal
Traditional microdermabrasion can be done in a spa or salon. It does not require anesthesia like surgery and it is a quick procedure. Generally, one session lasts about an hour.
Microdermabrasion works by producing a small bit of "damage" in the treated site. The body will then respond to the injury by producing new, healthier cells to displace the damaged skin cells. After several sessions, you should begin to see a difference in your stretch marks.
Other than treating stretch marks, microdermabrasion can also help remove the signs of aging. Age spots and fine lines will become less apparent with each session. And, dull skin will become more even and more radiant.
Stretch Mark Creams
Another alternative to surgery are stretch mark creams and microdermabrasion creams. This type of treatment is even more gentle than microdermabrasion, therefore, it will take longer to show positive results.
Stretch mark creams should contain a combination of ingredients that help eliminate striae. Usually peptides and enzymes are the ones responsible for this action. In essence, they dissolve scar tissue and help promote the growth of new skin cells.
Two other ingredients you should look for are Helix aspersa muller extract and rose hip oil. Both of these components are known for their success in treating scars and stretch marksBoth of these components are known to effectively help treat scars and stretch marks. Rose hip oil contains high levels of Vitamin C and A and essential fatty acids, while snail serum depends on enzymatic action to help the generation of healthy skin. Microdermabrasion creams work because they contain micro crystals that produce an abrading action. These micro crystals are much like those used in traditional microdermabrasion. Obviously they're much gentler than traditional microdermabrasion treatments.
You can also purchase at-home microdermabrasion systems which come with a machine that produces the abrading action. They also come with different attachments and some type of microdermabrasion cream.
BIOBODYCREAM is a natural skin care cream that can help you prevent stretch marks and treat other newly formed stretch marks. BIOSKINEXFOL, is another natural product that can be used to treat stretch marks that are older. Both products contain snail serum and are gentle enough to be used on any skin type.
